Wave – Day Two….

Great crowd this morning as the guys appeared to be ready early as practice started at 6:00am.

The JC crew was a late arrival coming off a late night from the club race the night before.  Walking into the track at 8:00am Barry Baker was quick to jump on me giving us the normal BB treatment.  Welcome back to Cali says Barry!  Barry and I came to an agreement that a soft opening in the morning is better for the ears.

Coming off some decent driving at the club race I expected a better showing from myself today.  Qualifying 9th in 2wd and about 6th in 4wd I could have been sharper.  I’m working on my car now so I’m hoping for a magical showing. 🙂  I think I need a couple months of OCRC to come up to pace.

Steven Hartson TQ’ed 2wd and 4wd but not without Root giving him some business in rounds 1 and 2. Steven put down an 18 lapper in round 3 and put to rest the TQ.  Good Run guys!

Sean Cochran let me run his 1/8th buggy electric during practice today.  The new LRP system felt really nice.  I can see where this is going.  Sean needs the Hi-Flow body!

Zach ran 2wd, 4wd and truck and seemed most comfortable in 4wd and truck.  Driving lines look good. It’s all about the practice at this track.

More soon.
