German 8th Scale Buggy Nationals Round 2

Round 2 – German 1/8th Buggy Nationals in Welden

The 2nd Round of the German 8th Scale Buggy Nationals was held September 2-4 in Welden. JConcepts Team Driver Jörn Neuman was there and sends us this update.

“On Friday there were 5 Rounds of controlled practice. The track was totally different to normal tracks, it was Astroturf and concrete. You need to have a good tire that works on both parts. In the morning I used Crow Bars in blue compound when the track was a little wet. As the day progressed and the track was dry I used Crow Bars in yellow. I was in 2nd place after Qualifying, that means I was starting 1st in my semi final. I finished first, but the other semi final winner was 1 second faster. That put me 2nd on the grid for the 40 minutes final. In the beginning I made a small mistake, but then after 10 minutes I took the lead and pulled away to a 9 seconds lead. I could stay in front for the rest of the final.”

Jörn used the following JC products:

Crow Bars yellow
Mono wheels yellow
JC Punisher Body DNX408
