JConcepts in the house at the Dialed Inc. Championships, in Shreveport Louisiana. What started off as extremely wet has turned to perfect weather for a great few days of racing. After the locals got the wet soil dried out, a complete rebuild of the track was in order. With practice finally getting started at 8pm Friday night and running into the early hours of the morning.
Saturday started off with open practice until 11:30am, followed by heat racing. The Invite class would be doing three rounds of Truggy today in a Reedy Race format. As the track continued to dry out the surface, which has tractor marks and a few soggy sections, has become a packed dry surface but resembles a cobble stone road. As the drivers try to select a tire that isn’t too edgy for the fast, flowing layout which feature some elevation changes and quick lap times in the mid 25’s.
