2012 Euros – Qualifying Complete

by John Piant on August 10, 2012

Qualifying has finished for the 2012 edition of the European Championship. A great week has treated the participants with nice weather, with only a few short delays due to a stray rain shower. Durango/JConcepts Jörn Neumann has been towards the front of the field all week long. His worst score out of the five rounds of qualifying was a 13 in round three. With the drivers and mechanics working for the goal of having a perfect car for the finals. A twist to the plot may come in the form of a rainy forecast. The extremely hard packed surface will be like ice, with a medium shower. All of the work to find the right tire and set up will be out the window. So only time will tell. With the day being finished for the front runners, it is time to go through the cars and get the work out of the way. It was 3:00pm when the qualifying finished, and the lower mains will start at 4:30pm.

See you tomorrow. Well, if you happen to be in Fehring. Come on by and say Hi.
