Dustin Evans and Toddie Anderson win at the Horizon Air Meet.
Dustin Evans and Toddie Anderson made the trip to the east coast to race in the popular Horizon Air Meet competition. 2 days of racing on one of the largest tracks seen in recent memory made things incredibly interesting for the SCT classes. Dustin Evans TQ’ed both classes with his JConcepts equipped TLR vehicles and going into the dual A-main he looked almost unbeatable. The 2 A-main format was off and running with Dustin winning A-1 in the 2wd class and Toddie Anderson finishing 2nd. In the 2nd A-main Dustin experienced a mechanical problem on the demanding track which forced him much further down the standings ending his chance at the overall victory. Toddie Anderson ran a great A-2 wrapping up the overall title for JConcepts and TLR. Toddie used the newly released JConcepts SCT 3Ds in green compound to tame the track and surface.
In the 4×4 SCT class Dustin Evans used his TQ position to wrap-up the championship by winning both A-1 and A-2 to dominate in style. The JConcepts equipped Losi SCT-E was dialed all weekend with SCT 3Ds tires in green compound.
