In its tenth year of running, the Jimmy Babcock Racing League, continues to draw huge crowds for the one-day events. With over 260 entries invading the Pegasus Hobbies facility, there was sure to be enough action for everyone. The first race went off at 8:30am and the last race finishd after 11:30pm, there was non-stop action around the outdoor, clay track. JConcepts drivers descended upon the event to both support the series regulars and to compete for race wins.
In the most popular class, 2WD Modified, JConcepts / Team Associated’s Kody Numedahl and his B4.2 Factory Team equipped with 3Ds in green compound were the star of the show. Setting the early TQ and walking away from the field in the main, Kody led a 10-car field to victory. Dustin Evans placed 3rd with his JConcepts equipped TLR 22 buggy also utilizing 3Ds in green compound.
Starting on pole for his second class in 4WD Modified, Kody’s B44.2 Factory Team again took the early lead and never looked back, securing his second title of the event. The B44.2 was once again equipped with JConcepts Double Dees in green compound to take down the competition.
Following Numedahl’s example was JConcepts / Team Associated’s Kevin Motter in Truck Modified. The young Team Associated racer utilizing Double Dees in green compound all the way around on this vehicle has been on fire recently and showed his speed again by taking a wire-to-wire victory with his T4.2 Factory Team.
