6th Annual JConcepts Spring 1:8 Indoor Nationals

IMG_0547This Past weekend was the 6th Annual JConcepts Spring 1:8 indoor Nationals hosted by Hobbyplex in Omaha, NE.

The track was great all weekend and the program ran flawlessly as usual at Hobbyplex. The event drew racers from all over the country.

In qualifying, JConcepts team driver Tyler Jones would show the fast way around the tracking TQ’ing both Pro Nitro classes. In Pro-4 SCT JConcepts driver Josh Ford would take the overall TQ.

In the pro Truggy main the lead would change hands a number of times with good close racing. In the end, Tyler would have to settle for 2nd place.

In the Pro Buggy main Tyler would start from his TQ position but would soon fall back to 2nd place after getting caught up in a wreck. Tyler had this to say about the situation. “I wasn’t worried because I knew how fast my TLR 8ight 3.0 on JConcepts Triple D’s in Black compound was”. He soon caught 2nd place, passed him, and was gone after that. He put two laps on the field on his way to a 1st place finish.
