Over the weekend of March 18th and 19th, Serpent/JConcepts’ Griffin Hanna was able to attend the Serpent Challenge that was held in Gaithersburg, Maryland and hosted by The Track. On a layout that has been in for months, Griffin was able to get up to speed very quickly to take the TQ in both 2WD and 4WD modified buggy classes using rocket round qualifying format.
During the A mains finals, Griffin was able to take home the win in 2wd and finish 3rd in 4wd due to some incidents with lapped traffic. The Track will be hosting the 2017 ROAR 1/10th Scale Off-Road Nationals later this year and this will give Griffin a head start on what to expect later this summer.
