On Saturday, March 25th, JConcepts’ Kyle Holmberg participated in the finale race of a 5 race series known as the March Madness Series, presented by 510 FTR Raceway in Foley, Minnesota. Taking the best 4 of 5 races to decide the overall champion, Kyle had already locked up the series title in the 2wd modified class prior to the finale race. However, the last race would go on to decide the overall champion in the 4wd modified class.
With passion, skill, and speed on his side, the talent was shining strong for Kyle on this day as he was able to TQ and finish the day out with a strong 2nd in 2wd modified A-Main to further solidify his overall series win in the class. With pressure running high, Kyle would repeat the same effort in 4wd and take the TQ, but go on to win the 4wd A-Main to decisively take home the overall points title in 4wd modified in the final race. Kyle’s winning tire combo consisted of gold Space Bars on front and Dirt Webs on the rear of his Kyosho 2wd while choosing to go with the proven combo of Dirt Webs all the way around on his ZX6.6.
