Ryan Maifield takes his 4th straight win in 4wd Mod at the 28th annual Cactus Classic.

In what has become one of the most anticipated events of the year, the 2014 Cactus Classic in sunny Scottsdale, AZ brings in racers from all over the world to battle under the beautiful Arizona sun for one of the most coveted titles of the year. In its 28th year of existence, the 2014 installment of the Cactus Classic is said to be the last at the Scottsdale, AZ location. Over the 21 years at this location the track has evolved from a naturally packed surface with water being applied every few runs, to a worn-in, natural blue-groove surface with blower and brooms to keep the groove clean, and most recently, large amounts of sugar to hold the dirt together to form a low-maintenance and consistent racing surface.

JCO2305_altRC10 Worlds 2.5mm Carbon Fiber front shock tower

The RC10, the most classic design in R/C history has been reintroduced to the public and available options parts are in high demand. JConcepts is spot on with the release of the new vehicle with a Carbon Fiber option for the front shock tower. The stock vehicle comes standard with a fiberglass unit which carries all the original geometry, however, it lacks the pizzazz, strength, optional holes and appearance that Carbon Fiber can provide. The new Worlds car front shock tower includes only the wide-track front suspension geometry and designed specifically for drivers upgrading to the longer front a-arm version of the RC10. The tower includes detailed reinforced areas, adding strength in key areas as well as the improvement in material creates a more rigid feel, increasing the response in the front-end. Replace the fiberglass and go with authentic 2.5mm Carbon Fiber by JConcepts.

JCO2344A high-end item used for many years on the performance side of R/C racing is the chassis protective sheet. For years, drivers have hand-cut and fitted their chassis with a clear material protecting the new chassis look and also providing a smooth or slick surface to decrease friction between chassis and dirt surfaces. JConcepts has hit the easy and glamour button at the same time and is now offering a precut and graphically pleasing chassis protective sheet for the most popular 1/10th off-road vehicles on the market. With 2 pieces included per package, the durable and low-resistance material fits each chassis layout like a glove and adds protection and style in one easy package.

JConcepts has updated the #0235 body with pre-dimpled locations to work directly with the Kyosho RT6 truck kit in rear motor configuration. The body still has the dimples in place to fit the T4.1 truck and now co-assigned to the RT6.

JConcepts kicked off the 2014 racing season with a Finnisher body which drop fits on to the Kyosho RT6 racing truck. The #0235 body has been updated to include pre-dimpled locations for one of the hottest trucks on the circuit. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance oriented core. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for the unique RT6 geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while the supplied decals stand-out like an 18 wheeler.
