I arrived with Tim Thursday night, very late, so our first day at the track was Fri, after the mud had dried. We brought out all the tires and let people touch them and see which tires Maifield was running. What a great debut for our new tires – a great addition to our existing lineup!
The JConcepts tent – we loved talking to our devoted fans and those who drove from various places to watch the race – not everyone gets to see the Worlds take place…. what a race!

Jake places the official #1 decal on Maifield’s Illuzion body for his RC8. Ryan Maifield and JConcepts take the Pole Position at the IFMAR 1/8 Worlds in Charlotte, NC, Sept 21, 2008. It was the most coveted nitro race in a long time.
