Brandon Melton was able to capitilize on the speed and durability of his FT RC8T and JConcept tires to win back to back RC Pro events in Myrtle Beach, SC and Hidden Springs, OH. The RC8T with XP1015 servos had no issues in finishing both 45 minute A mains with confidence.
Proving that the RC8T is very versatile, the first round was at Myrtle Beach, SC on a blue groove high traction surface known for eating tires. Round 2 was supposed to be in FL, but due to weather was postponed so Brandon headed north to Ohio for the weekend for the first round of the Great Lakes Division. This track was medium traction with a looser dusty surface. The RC8T and JConcpets rubber were great for both conditions.
In both main events Brandon ran the Cross Hairs in blue compound and had no issues with tread wear. Lap times were as fast at the end of the main events as they were up front.
