Well, it’s 2010 and we are off to a brand new event. JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals in St. Louis, MO. Zack Genova and I are heading out of Orlando on a direct flight with much anticipation. We are expecting on meeting up with fellow JConcepts drivers Rod Rippee, Chris Baumgartner and John Piant at SmacTrac later on today. I’ve heard it’s going to snow later today….I hope I brought warm enough clothes.
The race is indoors and supposed to be very comfortable temperatures inside at the track so that should be perfect. I really don’t know much about the track other than what everybody has told me. I hope Zack and I are competitive with the locals and hot shoe drivers coming in for the race. Something tells me these guys are dialed on this track.
I’ve brought with me a supply of Blue rear Bar Codes and Orange and Blue Bar Code fronts. From what I understand the Blue Bar Codes are the hot tire so hopefully that remains true because that is all we brought. 🙂
I’ve shipped my race gear ahead of time which is much easier than bringing it on board so if everything arrives I should be smiling.
The home of the Bigfoot Monster Truck is also in St. Louis so I’m looking forward to a quick stop in and quick photos around the shop. Maybe Zack can take one of the trucks for a drive? I would choose the # 8 just for old times sake.
