Last week I completed the CRCRC Winter Racing League or WRL. The series consisted of 6 monthly races throughout the winter to determine a CRCRC Champ. Many of the classes were extremely competitive and I competed in what are arguably the two most competitive and defiantly highest attended classes, 2wd SCT and 2wd Mod. Attending the Series were over 650 entries and multiple drivers from Losi, Associated, X-Factory, Reedy, Orion, Speed Passion, Viper, Proline, Spektrum, Airtroncis, and of course JConcpets
In 2wd SCT I was top qualifier of the 4 series races and had winning points scored at four of the possible 6. The series was counting best 4 of 6 dropping your worst two. I went into the last week needing a TQ and win to secure the title and that is just what I did. I took the overall championship by just three points. My 2wd SCT was a little dicey at the first series race of the year but by the end I defiantly had the car of the field. I attest this partly to the added JConcepts goodies that were released throughout the year like the Gold Compound Pressure Points (#3049-05), Carbon Fiber Hub Tower (#2165), and the Carbon Fiber Rear Body Mount Brace (#2164).
