Bring The Heat 2012 – Travel

The journey to Flowood, Mississippi started Thursday morning at the JConcepts shop, meeting Dave Duncan to finish loading the JConcepts trailer. We got our early start with Paul Wynn driving, leaving at 8am. We stopped at McDonald’s then hit the road. Daimon Borkowicz and I are in the back and Dave Duncan is navigating. After spending half an hour watching old race videos, “Born To Race” by Gene Husting, the computer screwed up and decided not to play it any more, so we’re listening to John Piant’s crappy CD’s. Although its saving us from listening to Dave’s country music.

Back to the racing side of things, we are headed to the Bring The Heat race, which is mainly the Warm-up race for the 2012 JConcepts Clash being held there in September 21 through the 23. Paul is running 2wd mod buggy and mod Short Course, Dave and I are going to be running 2wd mod buggy and 2wd mod truck, while Daimon is running some 1:8th scale rentals, 1:8th Electric buggy and truggy. More to come as we arrive, setup and start racing!
