The first day of qualifying has been completed at the 2013 Winter Mid West Championships. With a strong showing from the JConcepts regional drivers placing 7 of them into the A resort of the 2Wheel Mod class. There is no question that the Bar Codes are the tire to have. JP Richards taking TQ of round 1, Al Horne getting 2nd and Zach Phillips with a 4th. Along with a long list of top finishes for Mike Gay, Kai Goff, Brandon Marsh, Paul Sinclair, and Mitchell Gardner.
With Allen Horne’s TQ of the first qualifier in 4Wheel Mod, and more strong finishes from the other team drivers, we are looking forward to the rest of the event. After the resort of day one, there are 8 drivers in the A qualifier of 4 Wheel Mod for Saturday’s rounds.
With a very well run program, the first day of qualifying was finished around 6pm, giving the drivers a chance to do some preparation for the next day, and get some dinner at a decent hour. Its the small things that make for a nice race.
