JConcepts Dirt Webs sweep 2wd and 4wd at the 19th annual Rumble in the Rockies
The 2014 Rumble in the Rockies hosted by MHOR Raceway in Denver, Colorado, the home track to JConcepts/TLR/Team Orion driver Dustin Evans. The 19th running of this event would bring in a total of 210 entries. Dustin TQ’d 3 out of 4 rounds in both 2wd and 4wd, taking the overall win in both classes running the brand new JConcepts Dirt Webs in gold compound. Top 3 in both classes all running gold Dirt Webs.
In 2WD Modified Buggy Evans was on fire during the first day of qualifying and would TQ the opening three rounds of 2WD Modified Buggy to guarantee him the overall TQ. Evans would have a great battle with JConcepts/Team Associated’s Kody Numedahl who qualified 2nd overall in all three A-Main Events. Evans would come out on top and take the overall win by winning the first and third A-Main.
In 4WD Modified Buggy Evans would complete a perfect sweep of qualifying for the first day by also TQ’ing all three rounds. Evans and Numedahl would once again battle it out in the first two A-Mains and at the end it was Evans who would win A-Main 1 and 2 to take the overall win.
