The JCP Cold Turkey Classic hosted by JCP-RC Raceway in Indianapolis, IN was held over Thanksgiving weekend. A great turnout for the event on Saturday with 100 entries for the Electric only event. With some the fastest 2wd Mod buggy drivers in attendance from around the area it was going to be a great day of racing.
JConcepts team driver Tyler Jones was in attendance running 2wd and 4wd Mod Buggy.
In 2wd Mod buggy Tyler had his JConcepts equipped TLR 22 2.0 on TQ pace all day but small mistakes had him miss TQ by less than a second and ended up qualifying second. With the TQ spot open due to the driver having to leave early, Tyler and the second place driver started to gap the field and exchanged the lead the entire 10 minute main. A small mistake on Tyler’s part late in the race, ended up with Tyler finishing second overall. His 22 2.0 was hooked up all day on JConcepts Gold Dirt Webs and Bar Codes.
In 4wd Mod buggy, Tyler was able to TQ and lead the main wire to wire with his JConcepts equipped TLR 22-4 running Gold Dirt Webs.
