The JConcepts Team was out at the new RC Tracks of Las Vegas for the annual Silver State race this past weekend. With some new gear and great weather, the Team was ready to chase down another championship.
Ryan Maifield was running the Pro Buggy class and Open Truggy class. After qualifying 2nd overall in the Pro Buggy Class, Ryan lead the A Main until a mechanical failure sidelined him for the race.
In the Open Truggy Class, Ryan qualified 3rd overall with his TLR 8ight-T 3.0 equipped with JConcepts Reflex tires, Punisher body, Bullet wheels and a prototype wing. In the 45 minute A-main, Maifield put it down in a heated battle and pulled out the victory. The new Reflex tires worked really well for the heat and bumpy afternoon conditions and tamed the difficult Las Vegas track.
