Brett Kingsbury wins big at The Force Series round 3.
Mills Pond R/C is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was host for round 3 out of 4 total of the Florida Force series. Dave Duncan and Walter Cruz made the trip from the shop over to the track for the weekend to represent JConcepts and to assist the race team attending the race. We had drivers from around the state of Florida. This is a primarily 1/8 race with 4wd SC also.
Track was open all day Friday for practice. The layout was fresh for this weekend with a lot of rain prior. Track really started to groove up by later Friday afternoon with everyone going faster in their lap times. The track opened at dawn Saturday morning with open practice til 9am. Drivers meeting then round 1 started at 10am. Two full rounds of qualifiers and mains will be run in one day. Team drivers started out running fast in the first round with multiple TQ’s by different JConcepts drivers in many classes. After the end of round 2 the mains where set. Jimbo Kvidera was TQ in pro EBuggy with his JConcepts equipped Team Associated RC8b3e running on green Reflex tires. After the final main finished. JConcepts Team drivers finished on the podium in most classes. Brett Kingsbury was able to take the win in pro EBuggy with his JConcepts equipped Team Associated RC8b3e running on green Reflex tires. After a long day of racing. The team did well with all their finishes.
