Round 3 of the Force Series made it’s way to the legendary Lake Park track in Lutz, Florida. As the premiere racing series for 1/8th scale vehicles in the US South Eastern hemisphere, round 3 attracted nearly 200 entries making it one competitive, single day event.
As always, Ryan Eckert and the track crew did a fantastic job getting the track race ready with track prep starting back on Wednesday and throughout the weekend.
The JConcepts team had a cohesive bond and worked well together all weekend; on and off the track. The results would go on to speak for themselves.
Expert 1/8th Nitro Buggy
Taking the TQ and win in the Expert Nitro Buggy class was TLR/JConcepts’ JR Mitch. JR got the job done on JConcepts Green Reflex tires sporting the JConcepts S2 body, JConcepts front scoop, and finishing off the kit with JConcepts fin turnbuckles. Team Associated’s Ryan Eckert would finish 2nd with JConcepts’ Jimbo Kvidera 3rd taking the final spot on the podium.
Expert E-Buggy
TLR/JConcepts’ JR Mitch would go on to TQ and win a very competitive Expert E-Buggy class using JConcepts Green Hybrids equipped with JConcepts titanium Fin turnbuckles. Also making the podium in 2nd was JConcepts’ Lee Setser and AE’s Ryan Eckert in 3rd.
Open E-Truggy
Truggy master Mugen/JConcepts’ Patrick Rossiter would have a phenomenal weekend going on to TQ and win the Open E-Truggy class on JConcepts Green Reflex tires. Julien Oliveras would finish 2nd and Bobby Smith 3rd.
4wd SCT
JConcepts young gun, Jordan Singletary would TQ and win the 4wd SCT class using JConcepts Green Lil’ Chasers. James Large and Ben Pinover would round out the top 3 finishing 2nd and 3rd on the podium.
40+ Nitro Buggy
The 40+ Nitro Buggy class saw JConcepts’ Jeff Keeton start 2nd in the main, but dialed himself in to take a phenomenal win using JConcepts Lil’ Chasers in green compound. Also finishing in the top 3 were JConcepts’ Jimbo Kvidera and Erik Everett making it a podium sweep for JConcepts team in the 40+ Nitro Buggy class.
Great job by the crew at Lake Park!

Kayla Espinel did not podium in SCT. It was Jorden singletary first James Large 2nd and Ben Pinover.
Thanks James, I’ll get it fixed.
