The Satellite Rubber Bands have been a sort of trademark for JConcepts for a number of years and are one of the most identifiable items in the pits. When Jason Ruona and Ryan Maifield sat down to consider an improved tire band, it was going to have to be something special to even be considered.
The RM2 Red Hot Tire Bands retain the amazing elasticity of the Satellite bands, but fit tires just a little bit tighter to create an even more pleasant gluing experience. While many drivers like and appreciate the wide and easy to grab ears on the Satellite bands, the RM2 bands have gone with a simple sleek design with zero ears making them much easier to pack for a racer who is frequently traveling. Due to their elasticity these bands will fit anything from 1/10th scale 2wd Buggy front tires to 1/8th scale Truggy tires and pretty much everything in between!
These aren’t your run of the mill repurposed arm bands. These RM2 Bands use the same carcass as the original Satellite design with a slightly smaller diameter as explained earlier. The bright red color makes them easy to differentiate and find. Combine these with the JC Thin Glue or the JC Medium Glue and the RM2 – Glue Tip Needles for a seamless tire mounting experience.
