Jelin and Drake Dominate The 2022 Pro-Line Nitro Explosion

This past weekend the 2022 Nitro Explosion took place at Thunder Alley Raceway hosted by the JBRL crew. Some of the JConcepts West Coast crew showed up including Adam Drake and the newest team member, CJ Jelin. Check out how the team did and a little more about the products they used.

CJ Jelin recently joined the team and in his first big outing with JConcepts made a big impression. CJ started 2nd in the Expert Buggy main, he was able to grab the lead just before the halfway point and didn’t look back after that.

Adam Drake would come home 3rd after a battle with Ryan Pavidis in the latter stages of the race. CJ and Adam used S15 bodies for the MBX8R and the RC8B3/4, F2I wings, and Green Reflex Buggy Tires. CJ was also able to grab a 3rd place finish in the hotly contested Expert Ebuggy class.

In Open Truggy, Adam grabbed the lead about 1/3rd of the way into the race and lead all the way to the end. Adam used the F2 Truggy body, the F2I wing, and Green Reflex Truggy Tires.
