The competition between these two JConcepts drivers was fierce, with both tied on points. A thrilling Super Pole was held to break the tie, and Broc Champlin claimed the overall Modified Champion title.

Michal Orlowski secured the top qualifier overall

Michal Orlowski secured the top qualifier overall in the Modified 4WD Buggy class. In Round 1, he completed 19 laps with a time of 5:07.433, showing a strong start. Round 2 was even better, with him finishing 19 laps in 5:07.150, taking the lead in that round. He continued his solid performance in Round 3, completing 19 laps at 5:04.659. Finally, in Round 4, he achieved his fastest time with 19/5:04.981. These consistent top times made him the clear top qualifier for the event

Congratulations to all drivers in the Team Associated Modified 2WD Buggy qualifier round 4! Broc Champlin claimed the overall TQ his fastest lap was 15.900 seconds. Bruno Coelho led this heat with a time of 5:10.796, while Daniel Kobbevik and Spencer Rivkin delivered solid runs at 5:12.025 and 5:15.063, respectively. Great job to all

Qualifier Round 3 Modified 4WD Buggy was a nail-biter! 🏁 Bruno Coelho took 1st with 19/5:04.108, just 0.551s ahead of Michal Orlowski’s 19/5:04.659! Daniel Kobbevik was right there too, finishing 19/5:06.915. Such a tight race!

JConcepts arrives at Beachline Raceway for the 2024 Florida Carpet Championships with fresh, new items that carry a hint of inspiration from the past. The new Pioneer wheels for the 2WD buggy class boast unique features and aesthetics previously unseen. Inspired by a 1989 Masami Hirosaka replica, Jason Ruona envisioned recreating an iconic variation. The pop-out panels of the Pioneer wheels introduce a fresh look while maintaining the correct offset and mounting characteristics.

Distinctive outer ribs fall between the sectional panels, forming a radial ring around the wheel nut area. These ribs connect the four screw locations, representing adaptors reminiscent of the golden age of RC racing. The Pioneer wheels are designed for both show and performance; racers looking for a fresh appearance, high-end performance, and a range of color options will turn to these wheels in 2025.

The dimensions of the wheels match the IFMAR World Championship-winning Mono wheels, featuring an industry-standard offset and durable construction. Reinforced inner ribs and a robust 12mm hex area complete this design. Each 4-pack of wheels includes decorative screws and will be available in popular colors, including bright white and fluorescent yellow.
