2024 Hobby Action Wild West Shootout JConcepts Team Report

Hobby Action hosted their inaugural Wild West Shootout Dirt Oval event this past weekend with the JConcepts team in attendance. 165 entries showed up for the 1st annual event on a large event specific dirt oval track put in just for the weekend.

Racers practiced Thursday and Friday with Seeding taking place Friday night. A three round Race Points format for qualifying took place on Saturday with the main events on Sunday.

Seeding was a great success for the team with the following results. Seeding was fastest single lap times.

Outlaw Sprint: 1st Max Flurer, 2nd Billy Fischer
Late Model: 1st Max Flurer, 2nd Ryan Maifield, 3rd Billy Fischer
Midwest Modified: 1st Max Flurer, 3rd Tyler Hooks
Expert 360 Sprint: 1st Jake Thayer

Next up was qualifying which was a race points format with each and every round counting. The top 6 drivers would qualify directly into the A-Main with the next 6 going to the B etc. etc.

Moving into the main events, each A main was 65 laps with the first driver getting there winning. The JConcepts team had fantastic results ending up in the following positions.
