2024 Team Associated Race JConcepts Team Report

The annual Team Associated Race hosted by Trackside Hobbies and Raceway was held this past weekend up in Wisconsin. Just under 250 entries joined in on the action on the tight and twisty layout.

Open practice started Wednesday with Seeding taking place Thursday night. The team found themselves on the tried and true Smoothie 2.0 tires and a mixture of Dirt Tech and RM2 inserts depending on personal preference. The following drivers topped the seeding charts.

2wd Modified: 1st Broc Champlin, 2nd Tom Rinderknecht
4wd Modified: 1st Broc Champlin, 3rd Chase Lemieux
17.5 2wd: 2nd Doug Lariviere
13.5 4wd: 2nd Doug Lariviere
40+ 2wd Mod: 3rd Brad Hauch
13.5 Stadium Truck: 3rd Blaine Gould
13.5 Short Course: 1st Ben Humphrey
21.5 Buggy: 3rd Blaine Gould

Following seeding was 4 rounds of qualifying spread across two days. The best 2/4 qualifiers counted towards overall finishing position. Scores were really tight at the top with the most success had by these drivers.

Finally each of the buggy classes had triple a-mains with short course and stadium truck just having a single main. the JConcepts team had a fantastic day taking multiple wins and representing well.
