2025 RC Chili Bowl JConcepts Team Report

The JConcepts Dirt Oval team headed out to Tulsa for the last two weeks to do some racing at the MudBoss Shootout followed directly by the RC Chili Bowl.

The RC Chili Bowl had some notable changes this year with the introduction of the Invitational class for the top 24 drivers in the past few years at the event as well as some special guests. The winner would be crowned World Champion. The winner of the Outlaw Sprint and Late Model classes from 2025 will find themselves added to the 2026 Invitational field.

A combined 595 entries convened on the Mustang Arena at the Tulsa Expo Center to battle it out in alongside The Full Sized Chili Bowl across the parking lot. JConcepts would like to thank RC Chili Bowl for making Sprinters the spec tire for Outlaw and Masters Sprint

Invitational would be Reedy Race format with 8 rounds of Sprint Car and 8 rounds of Late Model all heads up racing with randomized starting spots. The best 7/8 runs for each particular driver would count towards the overall. JConcepts was proud to support 15 of this year’s drivers in Invite.

After invitational Late Model the top 1o drivers would be the following:

1st Robert Champan (JC) – 13
2nd Ryan Ralph (JC) – 13
3rd Tyler Hooks (JC) – 16
4th Nathan Dean (JC) – 18
5th Grant Ryals (JC) – 19
6th Wesley Call (JC) – 21

9th Arnie Fie (JC) – 26
10th Dustin Malicoat – 26

The rest of the classes would do the normal seeding procedures. The following JConcepts Drivers would find their way to the front.

Outlaw Sprint: 4th Brad Shearer
Late Model: 4th Joe Bornhorst
Midget: 1st Brad Shearer
Midwest Modified: 3rd Austin Smith (JC Privateer)
Wingless Sprint: 3rd Jamie Tennies

Following Invitational Late Model was Invitational Sprint Car, the top 10 in Sprint was the following:

2nd Zac Rose – 14
3rd Kyle Layton (JC) – 16
4th Raymond Benkowski (JC) – 17
5th Tyler Hooks (JC) – 19
6th Lee Thompson – 20
7th Dustin Malicoat – 20

9th Billy Fischer (JC) – 21
10th Robert Chapman (JC) – 21

Qualifying for the other classes is fairly unique for The RC Chili Bowl with 3/3 race points counting. Each round matters and the 2nd round each drivers finishing position from the first round inverts their starting position for the 2nd round. JConcepts drivers inched towards the front after qualifying.

Combining the 2 Invitational Classes, the overall winner was Nathan Dean followed by Robert Chapman, with Tyler Hooks finishing up 3rd. Check out the top 10 below:
