2025 Factory Tracks NSX JConcepts Team Report

Many of the JConcepts team’s best 1/8th scale drivers headed out to The Dirt at Perris for the Factory Tracks NSX event. The unique and tricky layout was put in by Factory Tracks and Anthony Westergaard and the race was directed by Jimmy Babcock and his crew.

The event was a 1 day format with both qualifying and the main events taking place on Saturday. Rocket Round qualifying format was used to set the grid for the main events. The following JC drivers found themselves towards the front in qualifying.

Drivers like Ryan Maifield and Dakotah Phend had the best success with Green Dirt Bites in Nitro and Electric Buggy and Green Reflex in the Truggy Classes.

40+ Nitro Buggy: 5th Paul Ciccarello

Moving into the main events the pace was fast and furious with driving having to be diligent to stay on top of preparation and racing with the one day format.

Open Ebuggy: 1st Ryan Maifield (JC), 2nd Dakotah Phend (JC), 3rd Spencer Rivkin (JC)

Open Nitro Truggy: 1st Frankie Contreras Jr., 2nd Dakotah Phend (JC), 3rd Aydin Horne

Open Etruggy: Jared Wiggins (JC), 2nd Brian Eiter, Nels Hanson
