The Clash of Champions is the season starter for the year each year as far as North American 1/10th scale races go. This year was no different with a lot of racers announcing and promoting new sponsors and products to kick off the year.
The Hoosier RC Hobbyplex always offers an epic layout on their large footprint track as well as a fully stocked shop with all the items a racer could want.
With inclement weather coming in the race was adapted with controlled practice on Thursday, more practice and qualifying on Friday and the conclusion of qualifying as well as the main events on Sunday.
Qualifying was the standard 2/3 qual-points format. The following JConcepts team drivers would battle to the top in qualifying.

Moving into main day the expert 2wd and 4wd classes as well as the Pro Modified classes would have triple mains with the rest of the classes having single mains. We would also see the Expert 2wd and Modified 2wd Clash main events as well.
