Race Team Update – June 2025 Week #3

It was another winning weekend for the JConcepts race team as they continue to stack up wins around the globe! Read all about it in this fresh edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report down at Thunder Alley RC Speedway in Lucama, NC. They recently hosted a special trophy event to celebrate their 26th anniversary, and team driver Josh Parrish would end the event by celebrating the TQ and W in the 21.5 Touring Car class!

Moving north across the state line we make our way to Adrenaline RC Raceway in Winchester, VA. This facility was host to Race 2 of the VCS (Virginia Off- Road Championship Series) so let’s see how the team finished up starting with team driver Brian Miskolczi. He reported that he finished 3rd overall in the Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy class! Joining him on the podium to complete the JConcepts sweep were fellow team drivers Maddy Long (TQ and 1st) along with Rusty Mihelich (2nd)! Maddy would also collect another TQ and win in the Open 1/8 Nitro Buggy class too!

Cutting the corner we now stop in at RC Madness in Enfield, CT. This past weekend they held Round 3 of their Off-Road Madness Series that saw 112 entries! Team driver Jared Bardin let us know that he finished the 1/8 Electric Buggy class in 9th place after a DNF, but he had better luck in the 1/8 Electric Truggy class as he locked up 1st place! Joining him on the e truggy podium were fellow JC drivers Daniel Sedler (2nd) and Antonio Caputo (3rd) to complete the JC podium sweep!

Antonio would also compete in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class where he would take the win too!

Next, we head over to Pennsylvania to get a few updates from the team competing at different RC events. Our first tour stop in the state is at Riverview RC Raceway in Jersey Shore. Team driver Matt Adams was busy competing in three classes at this dirt oval event, and when the dust had settled he would set the TQ in the 17.5 Late Model class then drive on to take the win, plus picked up additional wins in the Open and Midget Sprint classes!

Staying in the state we now head to the city of Schuylkill Haven where Route 183 RC Raceway is located.

Team driver Tyler Pittman was throwing down fast left turn laps at this event, and he would end the event with TQs and wins in the 305 Sprint car and Under 15 Mudboss classes!

Our last update from the PA was reported to us by JConcepts pilot Tom Petrella. This past weekend he visited LCRC Raceway in Oakland Mills to compete in their Party Rock Race trophy event that saw 345 entries! He signed up for both the 40+ 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes, and when the party was over he would finish 12th overall in the finals for nitro buggy due to a DNF, while in the e buggy class he locked up 2nd place!

Heading west we now visit TARCAR in Toledo, OH. This venue hosted Round 2 of the Glass City Series and we had many drivers in attendance so let’s see how they finished up starting with team driver Mike Legue.

He reported that he raced in both the Open 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes where he secured the double TQ and win!

JConcepts driver Kyle King was also at this event and he finish 10th overall in the e buggy class!

JC driver Mark Henry competed in the 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy class where he finished in 8th place!

Also competing there for the team was team driver Steve Culbert. He would end the event with a 6th place finish in the Open 1/8 Electric Buggy class, plus locked up 2nd overall in the 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Making our way north to Minnesota let’s now check in with the team to see how they finished up at Round 2 of the MNRC (Minnesota Off-Road Racing Series) that took place at Loosenuts Raceway in North Branch. Team driver Jeff Ford reported that he finished 3rd overall in the both the 1/8 Nitro Truggy and Buggy classes! Joining him on the nitro buggy podium to complete another JConcepts sweep were fellow team drivers Tyler Aubart (2nd) and Tony Sletten (TQ and 1st)! Tyler also let us know that he would finish 3rd in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class as well!

Moving down to Missouri we stop in at the city of Kirkwood where St. Louis Dirt Burners is located. This track hosted the 2025 Gateway Classic that brought out 164 entries! Competing there for the team was JC pilot Jake Stoeltzing.

He reported that he would finish 2nd in the Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy class and capture the W in the Expert 1/8 Nitro Buggy class! Joining him on the nitro buggy podium was fellow team driver Wes Miravalle in 5th place!

Taking the TQ and win in the e buggy class was his tire teammate Noah Hicklin! Noah would snag another TQ and win in the 1/8 Electric Truggy class too!

Heading over to Oklahoma we now visit Taylor Park Raceway in the town of Yukon. This track was host to Round 2 of the Elite Dirt Oval series, and team driver Kevin Mcnatt would attend this race and take the win in the SC Mod class!

Flying out west we touch down in sunny California at SDRC in San Diego. Last weekend they held their Point Break trophy race, and team driver Chris Raceles would take home the win in the 40+ 2wd Buggy class!

Now let’s get some updates from out international team starting with Canadian team driver Evan Roeth. Last weekend he attended the TVRCR Summer Classic race that was held in Kamloops British Columbia that brought out 141 entries! He registered for three classes and would end the event with the TQ and win in the Expert 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes along with 1/8 Electric Truggy!

Spanish team driver Alberto Garcia recently competed in the Spanish 1/8 Electric Off-Road Championship where he took the win in the 40+ class!

Next, we head down to New Zealand to see how the team finished up at the recent Astro Masters in Auckland. Team driver Kasey Dawson reported that he finished 1st overall in both the Mod 4wd Buggy and Stadium Truck classes!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Logan Toia. He was also throwing down fast laps at this event, and he would end it by setting the TQ in both the Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes then race on to finish 3rd in wheeler and 1st place in 2wd!
