The JConcepts 1/10th scale off-road team showed up in full force for the 2025 1/10th Scale Carpet Off-Road Nationals hosted by one of our favorites, Island RC Speedway.
The format included open practice and seeding practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday held 2 rounds of qualifying each, and Sunday was time for the main events with Triple A-Mains for each class.

4wd Mod: 1st Broc Champlin, 2nd Dakotah Phend, 3rd Brennan Schimmel

Moving into qualifying, JConcepts team drivers continued to apply the pressure and found equal success moving forward into the event. Racers mostly utilized Pin Swag front tires matched with Fuzz Bite rear tires on Mono Wheels.

Moving into the Main events it would be a fairly straight forward main day for the TQ drivers, 7/9 TQ’s would go on to win their classes with a few surprises in the other 2 classes.
Main Events:
2wd Mod: Broc Champlin would start a near perfect Sunday by taking 2wd modified after winning A1 and A2. Tom Rinderknecht would keep things consistent taking 2nd in A1 and A2 and winning A3 to finish 2nd overall. 3rd in A1 and A3 would be good enough to give Chase Lemieux 3rd overall.

4wd Mod: 4wd would be a carbon copy of 2wd for the duo of Broc Champlin and Tom Rinderknecht. Broc would win A1 and A2 to finish the weekend early. Tom would get 2nd in A1 and A2 and win A3 for 2nd overall. This time 3rd would go to Brennan Schimmel with a 4th and a 2nd.
