The first week of racing in August is in the books and it is another winning weekend for the JConcepts race team! Read about our winning ways across the nation in this new edition of the Race Team Update!
We start this week’s report out west at The Boneyard in Menifee, CA. This track hosted Round 4 of the SCMT (So Cal RC Monster Truck) racing series so let’s see how the team finished up starting with team driver Jessica Dahl. She reported that she made the semi-finals with her Micro Machines monster truck!
Also competing for the team was JC driver Michael Letcher, and he let us know he swept the Retro class brackets with his Jus’ Show-N-Off monster truck!

Moving up to Montana we stop in at the city of Libby where Cabinet Mountain RC Raceway is located at. Last weekend they held their annual Hot August Showdown event, and team driver Carl Vucinich reported that he finished 8th in 1/8 Nitro Buggy and 5th place in 1/8 Nitro Truggy!

Next, we head to Leighton Speedway in Leighton, IA for this quick update from team driver David Fast. Last weekend he attended their 2025 Nationals, and after the event was over he would finish 6th in the 410 Sprint class and 4th overall in the Late Model class!

Heading up I-35 we now visit FTR Raceway in Foley, MN. Last weekend was their August Heat race, and team driver Ben Humphrey let us know that he took wins in the 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes along with the TQ in e buggy! Joining him on the nitro buggy podium in 3rd was his tire teammate Tyler Aubart! Tyler also finished right behind Ben in the e buggy class too!
Also competing for the team was team driver Joe Scaramell. He signed up for two classes, and he would finish 3rd overall in the 35+ 1/8 Electric Truggy class along with a 1st place finish in 35+ 1/8 Electric Buggy!

Staying in the state we get our next update from team driver Marco Moreno. Recently he went back to RC Underground in city of Warren for Round 4 of their Summer Series. He competed in three classes and put in solid results in all of them!

Moving on to Michigan we now visit Beyond the Creek RC Raceway in Swartz Creek. They recently held a trophy event so let’s see how the team finished starting with team driver Kyle King. He would sign up for three classes, and he would finish with a DNF in 1/8 Electric Buggy, but he bounced back to take the TQ and W in the 1/8 Electric Truggy and Mini Truggy classes!
Also throwing down hot laps for the team was JConcepts driver Mike Legue, and he would finish with the double TQ and win in the 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes!

Our next visit is at ACCEL RC in Gay, WV. This past weekend was Round 1 of their Summer Series, and JConcepts pilot Wade Piggott doubled down with two TQs and wins in the Pro 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes!

Heading east we now visit Park Lane Hobbies in Pottstown, PA. This past weekend was their Red Dirt Rumble event that brought out over 130 entries! Team driver Enzo Albertoni was in attendance, and he would lock up the final podium spot in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Daniel Sedler. He recently visited DPRC (Dynamic Performance R/C) in Littleton, NH to compete in their King of the Mountain trophy race. He competed in two classes and would take the TQ and W in both of them!
