In this edition of the JConcepts Friday5 we talk to Arkansas team driver, Braden Bruce!
1. We have to ask everyone this in our interviews, how did you both get your start in RC racing?
My dad got me into racing when I was around eight years old. I’ve been hooked ever since.
2. When it comes to racing for awards, which format do you prefer? A three day event that takes up the entire weekend, or a smaller series race that might only be Friday and Saturday? Or even a weekly points night?
I always like the three day format.
3. What classes do you prefer to compete in today, and why?
Nitro buggy is my favorite class due to the long mains and fierce competition.
4. To date what is your favorite JConcepts product of all time and why?
It’s hard to narrow it down to just one product, but I would have to say the Reflex tire. It’s the most versatile tire and always works.
5. Besides RC cars, what other hobbies are you into?
When I’m not racing on the weekends, I like to ride my mountain bike with friends.
