Race Team Update – October 2025 Week #1

The JConcepts race team starts the new month off strong with more podiums around the nation. Read about where we were winning at in this fresh edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report in the Pacific Northwest. Last weekend was the finals for the NCT (Northwest Championship Tour) series that took place in Pasco, WA. Team driver Evan Roeth was at this event, and he would set the TQ in the Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy class, then race to take the win, plus picked up another W in the 1/8 Electric Truggy class!

Sending it south we now stop in Speed Lot Raceway in Ramona, CA. This past Saturday this track hosted Round 4 of the Top Notch Series. Team driver Don Vinkemulder competed in Intermediate 1/8 Nitro Buggy, and he would make the A Main finishing 5th overall!

Staying in Cali we now go to AMain RC Tracks in the city of Chico for our next update. Team driver Carl Vucinich competed there over the weekend for their King of Supercross event.

When the race was complete he would just miss the bump spot to the A Main in 1/8 Electric Buggy, but he made the finals for 1/8 Nitro Truck where he finished 6th overall!

Shooting down to Texas let’s now get some updates from team drivers competing throughout the state. We start with team driver Mike Stoll who was competing at the Texas State Championships that was held at RCCA (RC Car Club of America) in Fort Worth. When the event was finished he would end up 4th in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class along with two 2nd place finishes in the 13.5 4wd and Mod 2wd Buggy classes!

Now we head to the city of Porter where Mike’s Gulf Coast RC Raceway is located. This facility hosted round 9 of the HARC (Houston Area RC) series, so let’s see how the team finished up starting with team driver Brian Henn. He let us know that he locked up 2nd place after the AA mains were ran in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Also competing for the team at this most recent round was JC pilot Frosty St. Clair. He registered for the Expert 1/8 Nitro Buggy class where he finished in 2nd place!

Our third update in the state is from team driver Gabe Boudreau.

This past weekend he went to Oatesified Off-Road RC Raceway in San Antonio to race in their Heatstroke #4 event, and he would lock up the 3rd and final podium spot in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Heading north we now stop in at St. Louis Dirt Burners in Kirkwood, MO.

This past weekend they held the finals for their Midwest Championship Series, and after the points were tallied up team driver Wes Miravalle would finish 16th in 1/8 Electric Buggy, 5th overall in 1/8 Nitro Buggy and 2nd place in Gas Truck!

Heading up I-35 we now stop in at Send It R.C. Speedway which is located at the Dallas County Fairgrounds in Adel, IA. This past weekend was their Halloween Spooktacular trophy event, and JConcepts driver David Fast was scaring away the competition as he finished 3rd in 410 Sprint and 1st place in Late Model!

Continuing up I-35 we now cross over into Minnesota and make our way to the RC Underground located in the city of Warren. This past weekend was the opening round of their Winter Series, and team driver Marco Moreno was ready to roll as he finished 4th in 17.5 2wd Buggy, 3rd in 13.5 4wd Buggy, plus he set the TQ and took the win in the 13.5 Stadium Truck class!

Heading east now we stop in at Riverview RC Raceway in Jersey Shore, PA. This past weekend they held their Susquehanna Showdown trophy race, and team driver Matt Adams reported that he finished 4th in Late Model, set the TQ in the Sprint class, then raced on to finish 2nd in this class along with another 2nd place finish in the Midget Sprint class!

Moving south we now catch up with team driver Jason Edwards. He recently attended the SuperShafty Fall Crawl that took place in Frederick, MD, and when the event was over he would finish 5th in Class 1 along with two 1st place finishes in the Class 2 and 3!

Wiggling our way over to West Virginia we catch up with team driver Wade Piggott. This past weekend was the finals for the ACCEL RC Summer Series, and for the finals he would set the TQ and snag 1st place in both the 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes!

Crossing the state line we now visit Adrenaline RC Raceway in Winchester, VA. Last weekend was their 9th Annual Invitational trophy race that saw 352 entries! Competing there for JConcepts was team driver Javon Mallory, and when the dust had settled he would finish 4th in Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy and 2nd place in Expert 1/8 Nitro Buggy!

Also competing there for the team was JC driver Ben Decker. He competed in four classes and put in some great results!

  • Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy – TQ & 1st place
  • Open 1/8 Nitro Buggy – TQ & 1st place
  • Open 1/8 Nitro Truck – 1st place
  • Mod 4wd Buggy – 1st place

Heading down the coastline we get this quick update from JC driver Dave McEwen. This past weekend he went to Thunder Alley R/C Speedway in Lucama, NC to compete in Round 2 of their Super 7 Series. He signed up for the Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes and he would come home with the TQ and W in both!

Next, we make a detour to Eastaboga, AL where Lil Dega RC Dirt Oval is located at. This weekend they hosted the Rubber Tire Nationals which saw 162 entries!

Team driver Shane Wheeler was in attendance for this event, and when the event wrapped up he would finish 12th in Open Late Model, 9th in Open Sprint, 8th in Midget Sprint and 3rd place in Midwest Mod!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Joshua Vicidomini. This past weekend he attended the finals for the 1/10 Florida RC Championships that took place at Beachline Raceway in Cocoa, FL. He would just miss the transfer spot to the A Main in the Pro 17.5 2wd Buggy class, but he made the finals for the 13.5 4wd Buggy class where he finished 5th overall! Joining him on the 13.5 wheeler podium were his tire teammates Maccoy Martin (1st), Fabrizio Martello (2nd) and Chris VanRaemdonck (4th)!
