Race Team Update – September 2025 Week #4

The final weekend in September was another winning one for the JConcepts race team. Read all about it for yourself in this new installment of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report out in sunny California. There were multiple RC events taking place in the state so let’s see how the team performed starting with JConcepts driver Rob Moots. Over the past weekend he went to The Racers Den in Rancho Cordova to compete in their Battle At The Den carpet trophy race. He would finish a solid 4th overall in both the 13.5 4wd and 40+ 17.5 2wd Buggy classes along with the win in 13.5 Stadium Truck!

Our next update is from team driver Jeremy Bunting. This past weekend he went to Boneyard Raceway in Menifee to compete in their Boneyard Madness V monster truck event.

He competed with two trucks and would make the semi finals with his Carnage replica ride, while his other truck Bad Company made the finals and would finish 2nd overall! Both of his trucks also finished in the top eight in the Freestyle competition too!

Sending it over to San Diego where SDRC Raceway is located at we catch up with team driver Chris Raceles. Last Saturday was Round 5 of their Endless Summer Series, and he would lock up 2nd place in the 40+ Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes!

Next, we head over to Jamestown, ND where Dakota RC is located at. This past weekend was the final round of their Summer Series, and in the finals team driver Marco Moreno would finish 3rd in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class along with the TQ and a 2nd place finish in Mini Truggy! When the season points were added up he would finish 4th in the e buggy class, plus capture the title in the Mini Truggy class!

Heading down to Iowa we visit the city of Muscatine where Island Speedway is located at. Last weekend was the 6th round of their Summer Series, and it was a family affair for team driver David Peavler as he finished 3rd in Mod 2wd Buggy plus grabbed TQ and W in the Stadium Truck class! His son Jayme took the TQ and win in the 21.5 2wd Buggy class, while his daughter Jana finished 3rd in this class as well!

Heading south down I-35 we now visit Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs, MO. Last weekend was this final round of their point series, and team driver Orlando Martinez would finish 3rd in 17.5 2wd Buggy along with a 1st place finish in 13.5 4wd Buggy!

Now we make a diagonal to Tiger, GA where the Georgia Peach State Classic took place last weekend. Team driver Shay Brand reported that he made the finals for both the 1/8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes. He would suffer a DNF in the nitro finals, but had better luck in the e buggy AA Mains as he finished 9th overall!

Heading up the coastline we now visit Coastal RC in Chesapeake, VA. There we find team driver Josh Parrish who was competing in the Battle on the Coast finale. He would finish that day in 2nd place in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class, and after the season points were tallied up he would also finish 2nd overall in the series!

Our next stop is in the state of Pennsylvania. There were a few different events taking throughout the state so let’s see how the team performed starting with team driver Jonathan Sohl. This past weekend he went to Lehighton where Solt RC Dirt Track is located at.

This past weekend they held their Super Dirt trophy event, and he would finish 7th in the Mudboss class and 8th place in Street Stock!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Matt Adams. This past weekend he went to Route 183 RC Raceway in Schuylkill Haven to compete in the Pennsylvania Dirt Oval Championship. When the dust had settled he would finish 4th in the Open Sprint class and 3rd place in Midget Sprint!
