This past weekend the JConcepts Team headed to the Cocoa Beach, Florida area to Beachline Raceway for the annual Florida Carpet Championships. A record 378 entries showed out for the marque event!
The team at Beachline put in a fantastic layout and had the hobby shop fully stocked with JConcepts goodies! JConcepts was also a proud sponsor of the Intermediate classes being the spec tire provider for the classes.
Practice got underway Wednesday with another full day of practice Thursday. Thursday practice would include seeding which would be the first time lap times would matter for drivers.

Moving into qualifying there would be 4 rounds with the best 2/4 counting towards overall qualifying.

Moving into the main events the team had excellent results taking multiple wins, another unique part of the Florida Carpet Championships is the combined champion for both Modified and Expert Stock. Broc Champlin would be crowned the Modified champion with a win in 2wd Modified and a 2nd in 4wd modified. Expert stock would go down to a lap time battle with Nate Sutherland coming out on top to be the Expert Stock Champion.
