Race Team Update – December 2025 Week #2

As 2025 is coming to an end, the JConcepts race team doesn’t show any signs of slowing down as they continue to climb their way to the top of the podium. Read about our continued success in this week’s installment of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report down in sunny Florida. Last weekend Sundancers Raceway RC Club in Port Saint Lucie hosted a trophy event that brought out 208 entries! Team driver Carlos Gonzalez competed at this race in the Open 1/8 Electric Truggy class, and he would secure the TQ and win!

Moving north we now check in with team driver Jason Westfall. Last weekend he attended the GORCS (Georgia Off-Road Championship Series) finals that took place at the Loganville RC Complex in Loganville, GA.

He signed up for the Mod 2wd Buggy class where he would finish 2nd overall!

Heading east we now visit Attala R/C Speedway in Kosciusko, MS. They recently held the JD Dearman Toys For Tots trophy race, and team driver William Ables would finish 2nd in 360 Sprint along with the TQ and W in the Losi Sprint spec class!

Crossing the state line we now visit FORC Raceway in Jonesboro, AR. Last weekend was their 8th Annual Winter Kickoff trophy event, and team driver Peyton Jaynes would finish 2nd overall in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class along with a TQ and win in the Mod 2wd Buggy class!

Taking the win in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class was his tire teammate Braden Bruce! Braden would also TQ this class, plus he grabbed another TQ and win in the Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy class too! Joining him on the 13.5 podium in 3rd place was his father and fellow JC pilot Calvin Bruce!

Next, we make a diagonal to Altitude RC in Beckley, WV for our next update. This past weekend they held their Christmas Classic trophy event, and team driver Robert Meyer Jr. competed in two classes. He would set the TQ and finish 6th in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class, while over in the Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy class he would net the TQ and win! Joining him on the wheeler podium in 3rd place was fellow JConcepts driver Ennis Graves!

Our next stop is at The Factory RC Raceway in York, PA. Last weekend they held their Christmas Nationals trophy race, and team driver Ethan Mackanick would secure the TQ and 1st place in the Mod Sprint class!

Heading back west we now visit Wolfram RC in Des Moines, IA. Last Friday team driver David Peavler visited this facility for some club racing, and he would finish the night with the double TQ and win in the Expert 17.5 2wd and 13.5 4wd Buggy classes!

His son Jayme competed in the Mod 2wd Buggy class where he finished 3rd overall, and it was a podium sweep for the JC crew as he was joined by team drivers Alex Vanderbeek (2nd) and Tom Rinderknecht (1st)!

Heading up I-35 we now visit Dollar Hobbyz in Woodbury, MN. Last Saturday team driver Tyler Aubart went there for some club racing, and he would finish 3rd in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Don Vinkemulder. This past Saturday was the final round of the Top Notch series that took place at The Dirt in Perris, CA. He registered for the Intermediate 1/8 Nitro Buggy and Truggy classes, and when the dust had settled he would finish 9th in nitro buggy and 1st place in truggy!
