Race Team Update – January 2026 Week #4

Even the cold temps outside can’t stop the JConcepts team from bringing the heat to tracks around the nation! See where we were on fire at in this new edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report in the upper Northeast at DPRC (Dynamic Performance R/C) in Littleton, NH. This past weekend this track hosted the ROAR Region 1 Regionals, and we had many drivers in attendance so let’s see how they finished up. Starting with team driver Mason Montminy he reported that he would just miss the bump spot into the A Main for 17.5 2wd Buggy, while in the Stadium Truck class he would cross the finish line in 1st place!

Also competing at this event was JConcepts driver Matthew Sousa. He raced in the 17.5 2wd and 13.5 4wd Buggy classes and would walk away with the double TQ and win!

Team driver Matt Perault also raced in two classes at this event. In the Mod 2wd Buggy class he would finish 2nd overall while in the 40+ Mod 2wd Buggy class he would take the tone to tone win!

Next, we head down the coastline and stop in at World of R/C Parts & Thunder Alley R/C Speedway in Lucama, NC. This facility was host to the Beast of the East Triple Crown event that saw 146 entries! Let’s see how the team finished up starting with team driver Josh Parrish. He let us know that he would set the TQ and then race on to finish 2nd in the Mini Truggy class while over in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class he would finish 5th overall!

Team driver Ottavio Pieri also competed in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class where he would lock up 4th place! In the Pro 1/8 Nitro Buggy class he would secure 5th place, while over in the 13.5 4wd Buggy class he would finish 3rd for the day!

JC pilot Colton Furnari was also at this race and he signed up for three classes with great results!

  • Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy = TQ and 1st place
  • Pro 1/8 Nitro Buggy = 1st place
  • Expert Mod 4wd Buggy = 1st place

Joining him on the Mod wheeler podium in 5th place was his tire teammate Maddy Long and the overall TQ was JC driver Brennan Schimmel!


Speaking of Maddy, she also finished 5th overall in Pro 1/8 Nitro Buggy and locked up 3rd place in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Team driver Daigan Bledsoe also competed in three classes and came home with some great finishes!

  • Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy = TQ and 1st place
  • Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy = 1st place
  • Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy = 3rd place

Based on his results he also took home the overall win in the Expert classes for the Triple Crown too!

Now we head west and stop in at Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs, MO. Last weekend they held their 2026 JConcepts Off-Road Jam that saw 189 entries! Let’s see how the team ended up starting with JC driver Shane Alberico.

He reported that he would finish 4th in 13.5 Stadium Truck, 2nd in Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy and 1st overall in the Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy class!

JConcepts driver Conner Herrick raced in the same three classes, and he would finish 10th in Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy along with two 7th place finishes in 13.5 Stadium Truck and Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy!

Team driver Matthew Pyle registered for two classes, and when the dust had settled he would finish 4th in Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy along with a 2nd place finish in Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy after bumping out of the B Main!

Our next stop is at Adobe Mountain R/C Speedway in Phoenix, AZ. Last weekend this track hosted Round 1 of the Outlaw Series, and it was a podium sweep for the JConcepts team in the Open 1/8 Nitro Buggy class as team driver Spencer Rivkin took the TQ and win, team driver Adam Peters finished 2nd and JC driver Chris Wheeler would lock up the final podium spot!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Chris Raceles. Last Saturday he went to SDRC Raceway in San Diego, CA to compete in Round 1 of their 2026 Supercross Series. He is off to a great start in this series as he would finish the day with a 2nd place finish in 40+ Mod 4wd Buggy and 1st overall in the 40+ Mod 2wd Buggy class!
