The 2026 Montpellier GP took place this past weekend in Montpellier, France. The annual event brings in Europe’s best drivers to compete on the legendary circuit.
The event is always tricky with rain and weather and this year was no different with changing track conditions day to day and hour to hour.
The team started strong in seeding practice with Burak Kilic in 2nd and Juan Carlos Canas in 4th. Juan Carlos would go on to lead the charge in qualifying moving up to 3rd with Burak in 5th.
Moving into the main events Canas would start 3rd. Kilic would have to bump in from the LCQ after trouble in the semi-final but would make it in relatively easily. In the main, Juan Carlos would keep pace with the leaders and ultimately pounce into the lead after a mistake from Ongaro. He would hold on to the end of the race to take the win. Burak would have trouble once again in the main but showed good pace and speed for his first major European event with JConcepts.
