Just over a week ago the JConcepts team headed to the World Renowned Hobby Action Raceway for the the 2026 Desert Classic. American and International racers gathered to battle it out at one of the marquee 1/10th scale dirt events of the year with 325 total entries registering by the time racing started.
Hobby Action has a slightly different format to most with the normal seeding round followed by 4 rounds of qualifying with the best 3/4 rounds counting towards starting position in the main events putting a little extra emphasis on consistency across rounds.
The team found a good flow in seeding with the following results:

Moving into qualifying the 3/4 round format would really level the playing field between the fast and the consistent. Regardless JConcepts drivers moved towards the front and positioned well for the main events.
