A new month yields the same old results as the JConcepts race team continues to punish the competition out on the track which you can read about in this edition of the Race Team Update!
We start this week’s report down at Lake Park track in Lutz, FL. Round 4 of the Florida RC Championships took place there and team driver Patrick Rossiter Jr. reports that he finished 2nd in 1/8 Pro Electric Buggy and also took the TQ and win in 1/8 Electric Truggy! Both his buggy and truggy used Reflex tires in the Blue compound for A1 then the Green compound for A2.
Heading up the coast we stop in at Sumter, SC where Sumter RC Raceway is located. Our driver Jason Westfall recently competed there for the finals of the TSOC (Two States One Championship) Series.
After the points were calculated he would finish 3rd in the 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy class and 2nd place in the Mod 2wd Buggy class! Both of his TLR rides used Blue compound Sprinters and Reflex tires along with P1 and F2 bodies.
Also competing at the finals was teammate Logan Cowick. He qualified 3rd overall for the 30 minute 1/8 Pro Nitro Buggy main and would go on to take the win! He also took the TQ and win in the 1/8 Nitro Truggy class too! His winning bug used a S15 body and Blue compound Reflex tires while his truggy rocked the new F2 body and the same tire setup.
Continuing up to the Northeast out next stop is at URCP (Ultimate RC Pitstop) in Sinking Spring, PA. There we find team driver Tim Rothenberger who recently visited URCP for some dirt oval racing. He had to work late that night so he missed round one of qualifying. He made his second qualifier and then started in the B Main. He would go on to win the B Main to start in the back of the A Main. He would then charge his way up to the front and finish 2nd overall while only five seconds behind the leader! His vehicle was running fast too on our Octagons tires.
Heading even further Northeast we stop in at Maximus R/C Raceway located in York, ME. They just held their Haunted Maximus Race recently and our driver John Cravotta was in attendance. He competed in both the 17.5 Expert 2wd Buggy and 13.5 4wd Buggy classes and he TQ the 17.5 class and take W in both mains for the double victory at this race! Aiding him in his wins were Swaggers and Nessi tires and a P2K body on his 2wd while his 4wd used Fuzz Bites and a S2 body.
Now we fly out west to New Franken, WI where Dirt Heaven Hobby and Raceway is located. JC driver Richie Peters recently competed at this track and reports to us that took the TQ and win in the Stock 2wd Buggy class!
His winning ride used Silver compound Dirt Webs and Ellipse tires that were sanded down to slicks. He also used a Finnisher body and Aero wing package.
Jumping over Lake Michigan we splash down at M40 RC Raceway in Gobles, MI. Our driver Kyle Munson recently raced at the finals for their Summer Points Series and after it was complete he took home 1st place in four separate classes!

Staying in state we travel over to the city of Grandville where Grand River RC is situated. Team driver Chris Rothwell recently raced there at their ‘Friday Night Nats’ and finished 2nd in 13.5 4wd Buggy along with the TQ and win in the 17.5 2wd Buggy class! Both cars used sanded down Silver compound Ellipse tires on all four corners along with a P2 body on his 2wd and a F2 body on his wheeler.
Heading south to the “Show Me State” we get our next report from team driver Orlando Martinez. He competed at the final round of the Fastlane Raceway Summer Series in Blue Springs and when everything was totaled up he took 2nd place in 13.5 4wd Buggy and 1st place in 17.5 2wd Buggy! Both buggies used Gold compound Dirt Webs up front, Ellipses in the rear, plus Mono wheels and F2 shells.
Staying in state let’s now get a update from the team competing at a recent monster truck event hosted by Trigger King R/C. They put on their first October Madness event near St. Louis and team driver Chris Parrish reported that he swept both brackets in the Retro Monster Truck class with his replica Awesome Kong and Bearfoot Racer rigs! Both trucks used the following JC goodies:

He also swept the LMT Monster Truck Class with his replica Colossus truck while running the following gear!

Next, we make a diagonal to Mojo Hobbies in Oklahoma City, OK for some roundy round updates from the team. Starting with team driver Heath Lawson he reports that he finished 2nd overall in the Outlaw Sprint class! For the main he opted to used Green compound Ellipses in the rear with Dirt Webs up front.
Also competing in this class was teammate Billy Caldwell. He was leading the pack in the A main before he broke out and had to retire early. He still had a good time and was running fast on Ellipse tires!
Zipping up north we stop in at Omaha, NE where the HobbyTown USA HobbyPlex (The Plex) is located. This past weekend they hosted the 2021 ROAR Region 8 Off-Road 1:10 Electric Regionals and let’s get a few updates with the team starting with team driver Emerson Sturgeon.
He competed in the Mini Truggy class and would take the win with Gold compound Ellipse tires!
Also competing in the 13.5 4wd Buggy class was JC mate James Nelson. He was running fast on Gold compound Ellipses as well and just missed out on the podium as he finished 4th for the day!
Now we head to the Northwest to get this next update from team driver Tony Corless. The 6th and final round of the Northwest Championship Tour was just held this past weekend in Pasco, WA and this final round also served as the 2021 Columbia Cup. For the finals he would finish 4th in Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy, 4th in 1/8 Nitro Buggy and took the TQ and win in the 40+ 1/8 Nitro Buggy class! He used Green compound Ellipses along with F2I wings and S15 bodies. And after the series standings were announced he would also take 1st over in the 40+ 1/8 Nitro Buggy class!
Next, let’s get some updates from our international team starting with team driver Jordan Miles. This past weekend was the 1st Annual Clay Masters Electrosport RC Raceway in Ottawa, ON, Canada. He competed in the Mod 4wd and 2wd Buggy classes and locked up 5th in 4wd and 2nd overall in 2wd! Both bugs were running on Silver compound Ellipses plus a F2 body on his 2wd and a S2 body on his 4wd.
Our final report this weeks comes to us courtesy of JC driver Dylan Raposo who was also competing at this same race. He would finish 4th in Mod 2wd Buggy and 2nd overall in Mod 4wd Buggy! Both cars were running fast on Ellipse tires.
