It was another winning weekend for the JConcepts race team as we stacked up wins around the globe. Read about our team’s global success in this new installment of the race team update!
We start this week’s report down at Exoplex Racing and Crawling in Middleburg, FL. They recently held an event that covered three genres of RC, and team driver Gene Shrout Jr. would take home 1st place in all three of the categories!

Moving up the coast we now visit North Carolina to get some updates from the team competing at different events. Starting at World Of RC (WORC) in the city of Lucama they hosted a trophy event that had to be moved inside due to weather, but team driver Ryan Rand was up to the challenge as he finished 2nd in Pro 1/8 Nitro Buggy, plus a TQ and win in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Our next stop in the state is at Red Brush RC in Mount Airy. This past weekend they hosted their Future Stars of RC event, and team driver Derrick Harris competed in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truggy classes. He would just miss the bump spot into the A Main for the e buggy class, while in e truggy he finished 9th overall!

Crossing the stateline we now visit Virginia RC Motorsports in Richmond, VA. This past weekend they held the finals to their Spring/Summer points season, and team driver Tyler Pittman would grab the TQ and win to lock up another championship!

Staying in Virginia we now visit Leaned out RC Raceway in the city of Disputanta. This past weekend they held their Back to School event, and team drivers Brian and Layton Miskolczi would finish 7th and 9th in the Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Onward to Ohio we now visit TARCAR in the town of Toledo. Last Saturday was Round 4 of their Glass City series, and we had many drivers in attendance so let’s see how they finished up starting with team driver Steve Culbert.
He reported that he took the TQ and W in the 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy class!
Team driver Mark Henry also competed in this class where he finished in 5th place!
JConcepts driver Mike Legue competed in the 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes, and he would double dip with two TQs and wins! Joining him on the nitro buggy podium in 3rd place was his tire teammate Chuck Berg!
JC driver Kyle King let us know that he would finish 4th overall in 1/8 Electric Buggy, plus grab a TQ and win in the 1/8 Electric Truggy class!

Making our way down to Mississippi we now visit Saratoga-Flowood RC Raceway in city of Magee. Over the weekend they hosted their Magnolia X trophy event, and team driver William Ables would come home with a TQ and win in the Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Heading back north we now visit Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs, MO. Over the weekend they hosted their King of Dirt Oval Championship that brought out 172 entries!
Team driver Will Brinton was in attendance for this event, and he would finish the day with a 6th place finish in Mod Late Model along with the W in the Mod Sprint class!
JConcepts pilot Jeremy Cathlina competed in three classes, and when the dust had settled he would finish with a DNF in the A Main for 13.5 Sprint, a 4th place finish in Mod Late Model, plus the TQ and a 7th place finish in the Mod Sprint class!
Team driver Tyler Keel also competed in the Mod Sprint class where he finished 4th overall!
JC driver David Fast also competed in three classes, and he would finish with a 6th place finish in the B Main for Mod Late Model, a DNF in the lower main for Mod Sprint, plus a 3rd place finish in the 13.5 Sprint class!
Team driver Brian Stanton was also at this event, and he would finish in the B sort for Mod Sprint, plus the TQ and a 4th place finish in the Midget Sprint class!
JConcepts team driver David Alford was also at this event, and he would grab the TQ and W in the 13.5 Late Model class!

Continuing north we now stop in at Lake Superior R/C Car Club in Proctor, MN. This past weekend was Round 4 of the MNRC series so let’s see how the team did starting with team driver Tyler Aubart.
He let us know that he would finish 4th in 1/8 Electric Buggy along with a 2nd place finish in 1/8 Nitro Buggy!
Also competing for the team at this event was team driver Joe Scaramell. He would suffer a DNF in the finals for 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy, but he had better luck in the 40+ 1/8 Nitro Truggy class as he locked up 6th place!

Next, we fly out west to sunny California to get a few updates from the team competing at different events. Starting with team driver Chris Raceles, this past Saturday he went to SDRC Raceway in San Diego for Round 2 of their Endless Summer Series. When racing was done for the day he would walk away with the double TQ and win in the 40+ Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes!

Our next stop is at Silver Dollar Raceway in the city of Chico. This past weekend they held their NorCal RC Summer Showdown, and team driver Mike Bufka was ready to crush the competition. He would grab the TQ in the Retro, Challenger and Pro Mod classes, then he raced on to finish 2nd in the Retro and Pro Mod classes, plus 1st overall in the Challenger class!
His tire teammate Michael Letcher was also at this event, and he had a blast as he competed in Freestyle, Pro Mod and the Retro classes!

Now let’s get some updates from our international team starting with JC driver Jake Dell. He recently competed at Round 5 of the UK Championship, and he would finish 7th in the Junior Championship, 1st place in the Under13 Junior Championship, and when the results were tallied up he would finish 41st overall for the national championship!

JConcepts driver Cayden Stenhouse competed in the British Nationals this past weekend where he finished 1st in the Clubman class! And when the points were added up would finish 3rd overall!

Heading to the land down under let’s see how the team finish at the 2025 Australian National Titles.
Team driver Aaron Dexter would finish up 9th overall in the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class, while in 1/8 Nitro Truggy he would net the TQ and win!
JC driver Alex Bernadzik would finish 5th overall in the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class, plus he took home the TQ and win in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class!
JConcepts driver Jarod Ment would finish the event with a 4th place finish in 1/8 Electric Buggy, plus 3rd overall for the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class!
Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Ben Panic. He too attended this event and would drive his way up to the semi finals in the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class!
