Race Team Update – November 2025 Week #1

Even with October in the rear view mirror, the JConcepts race team continues to scare away the competition at the track as we roll right into November. Read about our winning ways in this new edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s race report out west at Whip it RC in Reno, NV. Last weekend was their 3rd Annual Whip Fest so let’s see how the team finished up starting with team driver Jeff Guest. He competed in the 40+ 13.5 2wd Buggy class and he would take the home the win!

Also throwing down laps at this event was his tire teammate Randy Tanaka. He signed up for the 40+ 13.5 2wd and 13.5 4wd Buggy classes and would grab the TQ for both! After the mains were ran he would finish 3rd in the 40+ class and 1st place in 13.5 wheeler!

Cutting the corner we now move to The Nitro Compound in Maricopa, AZ. Last weekend was their October Fest trophy event that brought out nearly 200 entries!

JC driver Josh Keith raced in the Short Course Truck class and he would take home the win along with some candy treats!

Next, we shoot over to Texas and stop in at Mike’s Gulf Coast Raceway in city of Porter. Last weekend they hosted the finals for the HARC (Houston Area RC) Series, and team driver Frosty St. Clair would finish 3rd overall that day in the Expert 1/8 Nitro Buggy class. When the series points were added up he would claim the title for this class too!

Also competing for the team was JConcepts driver Brian Germany. He and his son Seth competed in this series and after the scores were tallied Brian would finish 1st in 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy while his son took the overall title in the Intermediate 1/8 Nitro Buggy class!

Heading east we now visit Phil Hurd Raceway in Savannah, GA. Last weekend they held a points series event and team driver Patrick Rossiter Jr. was ready to roll as he took the TQ and W in the Expert 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

Heading up the coast we now make our way to PLRC (Power Line R/C) in Fredericksburg, VA. Last weekend was their Wild Turke V trophy event, and JConcepts driver Brian Miskolczi was gobbling up the competition as he finished with the TQ and win in three classes!

  • Mod 2wd Buggy = TQ and 1st place
  • Mod 4wd Buggy = TQ and 1st place
  • 1/8 Electric Buggy = TQ and 1st place

Heading north we now visit New Milford, PA for our next update.

Last Saturday the Monster Force Fall Finals took place here, and team driver Jonathan Sohl was crushing the competition as he swept the podium in the Retro class!

Also crushing cars at this event was fellow JC driver JJ Eaton. He competed in the Challenger class where he finished 3rd overall! Taking 1st place in this class was his tire teammate Sonny Santucci!

Leaping Lake Erie we touch down in Michigan to get a few updates from the team competing at different RC events. Our first update in the state is from team driver Kyle King. Last weekend he went to the Belleville RC Club in Belleville to race in their Fuzz Brawl trophy race. He competed in two classes and would finish 4th in 17.5 2wd Buggy and 2nd place in 13.5 4wd Buggy!

Our stop in the state is at Sandpit RC in town of Jonesville. Last weekend was the opening round of their Winter Electric Series, and team driver Michael Rinke would get off to great start with the TQ and W in the 1/8 Electric Buggy class!

JConcepts pilot Chuck Berg also competed in this opening round and he would finish right behind Michael on the e buggy podium in 2nd place!

Leaping Lake Michigan we now splash down at Trackside Hobbies & Raceway in Brookfield, WI. Last weekend they held their 2025 Team Associated Race that brought out 233 entries!

Competing there for the team was JC driver Gavin Moeller, and he would finish 7th in 13.5 4wd Buggy and 5th place in 17.5 2wd Buggy!

Our final report this week comes to us courtesy of team driver Marco Moreno. This past weekend he went to the RC Underground in Warren, MN for Round 2 of their Winter Series, and he was on fire as he took the win in all of his classes plus a top qualifying position!

  • 17.5 2wd Buggy = 1st place
  • 13.5 4wd Buggy = 1st place
