RC10 1989 Stealth, Aluminum Servo Mount Bracket – Black
Part# 5311-2

Setting the trim on any RC car is crucial but perhaps even more critical is for the trim to remain consistent throughout a race. JConcepts introduces the servo mount bracket for the RC10 1989 Stealth car. Constructed of lightweight aluminum, the servo mount brace has been a staple for racing vehicles going back to 2015. The simple and sleek design with performance and tracking advantages have spoken volumes throughout the years on the racetrack.

The mount fits snug inside the chassis servo mounting area increasing the support while the 2 screw mounting locations are beefy in design and zeroed in for a direct mount to the chassis. The brace has locations on each side for set screws to help align and maintain servo position during racing conditions, crashes, and hard hits. The set screws are intended to touch off against the servo case and provide additional support retaining the servo in the intended position which helps maintain consistent steering trim.

The servo mount brace can be installed without any modifications or additional equipment in the RC10 1989 Stealth car. It is built to allow room for forthcoming #5301 aluminum steering bellcrank assembly and it works in conjunction with newly released #5314, #5315 JConcepts 14mm clamping servo horn. When all these items are used together, the steering system of the vehicle becomes an incredible improvement over stock components, has an ideal alignment between components, and maximizes steering throw in each direction.

Tested by Ryan Maifield during the Team Associated Vintage Championship, the servo mount bracket looked good, fit good, and installed easily. With a sleek wrap-around design, luster of aluminum, and etched Team JConcepts logo, the servo mount bracket adds consistency, performance tune-ability with aesthetic appeal. The new item is designed to use 4-40 hardware supplied by the user either off the stock model or from personal spare parts (not included). JConcepts is, World Proven Innovation and Design.

Installation notes –
To install, completely remove servo from vehicle and remove standard mounts. With the servo horn already in the correct position, align plastic shims or without as previously used on the servo. Install brace to each side and loosely fasten factory mounting screws with washers into the 4 locations and snug them. Now, center the servo between the brace and install the set screws on each side, use a light amount of thread locking compound (#8136) RM2 thread lock adhesive and snug them to touch off and keep the servo in place.

Completely clamp the 4 mounting screws on the front side to lock servo position. Remember to always use a light amount of thread locking compound when securing steel screws into aluminum. Reinstall the servo to vehicle and trim out and check EPA adjustments to complete assembly.

• JConcepts original design and function
• Machined aluminum, wrap-around concept
• Tested by Ryan Maifield
• Set screw-controlled centering feature
• Mounts directly to standard chassis locations

RC10 1989 Stealth, 14mm Servo Horn, 23T – Black
Part# 5314-2

One of the critical points of racing comes from the steering servo and proper servo horn. The horn transfers all the torque from the servo to the steering bell cranks and this piece needs to be created with precision and durability. The JConcepts 14mm clamping servo horn created for the 23T count has all the necessary geometry to fit a vast assortment of vehicles. However, this horn is specially designed for the RC10 1989 Stealth car to fit under the top deck and provide proper angle and geometry.

The broad base of the horn tapers to the connection area where the steering takes place. The boss on top surrounds the ball-end and provides a hefty surface for steering direction. Small ribs have been added on the sides to help strengthen the unit in a twisting fashion and a deep pocket hides the 3mm standard mounting screw. The horn has laser etching with JC and the tooth count for high-end looks and authenticity.

Available in black anodizing, the 14mm clamping servo horn is great for vehicles such as the RC10 1989 Stealth car and others which require the same height. This servo horn is the perfect complement to forthcoming JConcepts #5301 aluminum steering bellcranks, and already available #5311 servo mount bracket. Tested by Ryan Maifield during the Team Associated Vintage Championships, the servo horn proved to be durable and correct geometry for the Stealth car.

Features:
• Precision machined aluminum
• 23T count, 14mm popular height
• Clamping style
