This weekend the JConcepts team headed to Omaha, Nebraska in their first big race of the year in the form of the ProTek Heads Up Off-Road Championships. The team lead by Tom Rinderknecht had a fantastic weekend taking 7 overall wins.

The event used a race points format in a very similar way to what has been seen at the Chili Bowl using a 3 round format with racers who had the most success in the first round starting in the back of the field for the second round. Each round was heads up meaning the racers actively raced each driver on the track with them every round.
Starting position for the first round was determined by seeding results with the following JConcepts drivers leading the charge early.

Mod 4wd: 1st Nick Gibson, 2nd Tom Rinderknecht, 3rd David Alberico
17.5 2wd: 1st Alex Sturgeon, 2nd Andrew Thomas, 3rd TJ Williams
13.5 4wd: 1st Shane Alberico, 2nd Owen Vanderbeek, 3rd Dalton Condradt
40+ 2wd: 1st David Alberico, 2nd Alex Sturgeon, 3rd Mack Vanderbeek
13.5 Stadium Truck: 1st Jake Wiggs
Moving into qualifying as mentioned earlier, all 3 rounds would count with varying different starting positions for each driver. The driver with the lowest finishing scores across the 3 rounds would start out front for the main events.
