Rocky Mountain RC Raceway had their first large event with new ownership this past weekend as racers battled it out at the 2026 April Fools Classic.
The April Fools Classic is a staple for racers in the Utah area, this event was the 37th edition of the event. Just under 225 entries packed the house showing support for the recent change in management as well as a name change to the popular track.
The event hosted a few days of open practice, followed by 4 rounds of qualifying spread across Friday and Saturday with 2/4 of the rounds counting in the qual-points format. Sunday held all of the main events with a large majority of the classes having triple mains.
Broc Champlin lead the team in qualifying and the main events check out the qualifying results below.
