This past weekend the 2026 European Championships took place for 1/8th scale off-road in Madrid, Spain at Circuito de Fuencarral. The JConcepts team was able to take home two championships as winners of the 1/8th Nitro Buggy Class as well as 40+ Nitro Buggy! Congratulations to Juan Carlos Canas and Alberto Garcia.
The team would utilize mostly Dirt Web 2s and Double Bars in the A2 and A1 compounds during qualifying and the main events.
The first day of practice included 5 rounds that ultimately wouldn’t matter towards any sort of seeding, but were a good way to see how racers stacked up to start the weekend.

23rd Burak Kilic
37th Iago de la Iglesia

Despite some rain on the first qualifying day, 5 rounds of qualifying would be ran with the best 3/5 results setting the grid for the main events. Juan would lead the team with a TQ in the 1st round with Burak joining with two top 10 runs himself.
2nd Juan Carlos Canas
11th Burak Kilic

Alberto Garcia would take a dominant win in the 40+ final with the hot lap of the race and nearly a lap lead on the field! Congratulations Alberto!
Juan Carlos Canas would win the B Semi-Final with a time fast enough to start first on the grid by a slim margin over Davide Ongaro with both drivers having almost identical times after the run. Burak Kilic would also move directly into the main event after a 5th place run in the A Semi-Final.
Moving into the main event Canas, Adrian Pariente, and Davide Ongaro would all take turns leading the race, about 2/3rds through the main event Juan Carlos would take the lead for the final time and not look back to take the win by roughly 7 seconds over Pariente and Ongaro. Burak would also have an excellent drive to climb from 10th on the grid up to 5th at the end of the race. Congratulations to our entire team on an amazing weekend and we thank everyone for all the hard work!
