Race Team Update – October 2026 Week #1

The JConcepts race team keeps things rolling as move right into the month of October. Read about which tracks we were winning at in this fresh edition of the Race Team Update!

We start this week’s report out west in sunny California. This past Saturday team driver Chris Raceles traveled to SDRC in San Diego to compete in Round 4 of their Endless Summer Series. When the racing was done for the day he would come home with the TQ and win in the 40+ Mod 2wd Buggy class!

Now we head over to Webster City, IA where White Fox Speedway is located. This past Saturday they held a double header event with two races during the day and then later that night. Team driver David Fast lived up to his name as he took the TQ and win in the 410 Sprint class for both events!

Heading up I-35 we now visit RC Underground Inc. in Warren, MN. This past weekend was the opening round of their Winter Series, and team driver Marco Moreno was ready to roll as he finished in 3rd place in Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy, a TQ and DNF in 13.5 Stadium Truck, plus he picked up the win in the Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy class!

Working our way over to West Virginia we now stop in at Altitude RC in the city of Beckley. This past Monday was the finals for their 8 round Monday Night Points Series. After the season points were calculated team driver Casey Bias took home the title in the Expert 17.5 2wd and 4wd 13.5 Buggy! His son Colton took home 1st place in Adult Novice 17.5 2wd Buggy! JC pilot Brent Hatcher finished 2nd overall in 17.5 2wd Buggy and 13.5 Stadium Truck as well!

Next, we head up to Pennsylvania to get some updates from the team competing in different events. Our first stop is at Pheasantland RC Park in Boyertown. This past weekend the PA Monster Truck Series held their Fall Jamboree event, and team driver Sean Benfer was busy crushing the competition as he finished 1st in the ProMod, Freestyle, SportMod, Challenger and Mini LMT classes! He also finished 3rd in 2wd and Vintage, and he also earns our coveted ‘ironman’ award for competing in the most classes at a single RC event!

Our next report in the state comes from team driver Matt Adams. Over the weekend he went to the Susquehanna Showdown at Riverview RC Raceway in Jersey Shore and he signed up for three classes. When the dust had settled he would suffer a DNF in Midget Sprint, finished 4th in 360 Sprint, and in the Late Model class he would secure the TQ and win!

Also competing at this event for team was JC driver Matt Morris who would secure 2nd overall in the 360 class!

Cutting the corner we now stop in at RC Madness in Enfield, CT. This past weekend they held their final outdoor trophy race of the year, and team driver Eric Bresnahan would just miss out transferring to the A Mains in the 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truggy classes while looking good and running fast!

Now let’s get some updates from our Australian team. This past weekend the Australian 1/10 Nationals were held in Canberra on their outdoor clay track. Despite the rainy weather the event was able to get completed so let’s see how the team finished up starting with team driver Lachlan Donnelly. He registered for two classes and would end the event with the double TQ and W in the Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes! He would also finish 2nd overall in Mod Stadium Truck too!

Taking the TQ and win in truck was his tire teammate Lachlan Munday! He would also finish 3rd overall in Mod wheeler!

Team driver Zac Panic would capture the national title in the 2wd Juniors class!
