Event: Golden State Electric Champs

Track: Racers Haven – Bakersfield, CA
This past weekend was the Golden State Electric Champs held at Racers Haven in Bakersfield, Ca. JConcepts Team Driver Zack Rogers raced Mod 4wd and 2wd. The event was held on Saturday only, with three rounds of qualifying and single A mains all done on the same day, it made for a long day of racing.
Zack’s cars were working well all day allowing him to take all three rounds in 4wd. 2wd saw the battle between Cody Turner and Zack heat up with Zack taking Q1 and Q2, but Cody got overall TQ with his Q3 win. The main was intense with some great racing between Cody and Zack, Cody lead the first half till a small mistake letting Zack get around and hold him off till the end.
