Congratulations to Ryan Maifield on an impressive win at the 2011 ROAR 1:8 Fuel Off-Road Nationals in the 1:8 Truck Class.
Ryan took his Team Associated FTCE RC8T equipped with a JConcepts Punisher body, JConcepts 1/8 Wheel Nuts and JConcepts Cross Hairs in Yellow Compound to a well deserved victory. JC Team driver and Floridian JR Mitch completed the Truggy Final in 7th place, up from 10th.
In the Buggy class, Ryan was also on the podium in 2nd place. Ryan was on another impressive pace and looked to have a chance at another victory but a flame out mid way through the race put him almost 2 laps down with not enough time to make it up. JR Mitch with an impressive run bumped up from the semi and was to finish the final in 6th after starting in the 12th position. JC Team Driver Jeremy Kortz rounded out the top 12 in the Buggy Final postings.
